The work prior to the premiere and the anticipation for the "moment of truth" not only preserve the ability to fascinate that staging has but, by showing me their backhand and spelling out their tricks, they make theater even more magical for me.

The photographs were taken between 2004 and 2007 during the staging and moments before the premiere of a comic opera, a dance-rock piece and a variety show.

These eight photographs were exhibited in Quito, in May 2010, in "Stories of the City" group show of La Imagen Cuenta photography collective. The exhibition was held at FLACSO (Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences) and was sponsored by Arte Actual gallery.
